[edit] Trivia

I removed the trivia regarding the West Wing and the California 47th becuase the 47th that the West Wing refers to is now the 48th. Loretta Sanchez does not represent the staunchy conservative Newport Beach district she represents Garden Grove, Santa Ana and Anaheim. The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.194.82.128 (talk • contribs) .

[edit] Use of "right-wing"

Is the City Journal really right wing? I know that many people will use "left-wing" or "right-wing" to hint at discrediting a particular source. What are its political tendencies?

I looked up Dick Army's page and there was an article from Counter Punch, which is quite "left-wing" but there is no mention of that for a reference to Dick Armey. Either both have to be labeled as such, or none should. Anyone?[SBraga]

[edit] Against Vietnam

I read a local newspaper about "Viet Tan", an anti-communist group which always lie about facts in Vietnam to people in US, because they want to overthrow Vietnam's government. Sadly, Mrs. Sanchez believes in their lie without listening to the truth in Vietnam. So that's why she never have a sympathy look to Vietnam. That's not suppose to be an information for this article, but I just want to say how much I hate anti Vietnam group (I swear 100% of their words are NEVER true!), and how I feel shame for people like this woman. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kreativevn (talkcontribs) 15:55, 5 May 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Modifying a silly sentence

Modifying the following:

the "investigation" was without legal authority, especially considering Sanchez was seated by the Republican-controlled House

First of all, there is no need for scare quotes around the word "investigation." Saying that the investigation didn't carry legal authority is enough. There is no question that the INS conducted such an investigation. Second, the fact that Sanchez was seated by a Republican-controlled House was mentioned a few sentences prior. There is no need to add it again following the words "especially considering" since the composition of the House would have no effect whatsoever on the legality of the investigation. 24.113.82.222 13:35, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
