The "differences between the book and film" section of this article is very similar to that in the article of the 1963 film. Is it just a copy-paste thing, or do all of those differences really exist? Steveo2 18:48, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Differences Between Book and Film

Just from reading the book, I see a lot wrong with this section. First of all, alot of the bullets are identical to those from the 1963 film. Also, many bullets are opinions. One bullet, "There was never an accordian washing up on the shore or any mention of the Russians or the Olympics", is factually inaccurate. I will not remove this but put an asterik by it. The bullet has no mention of whether it reffers to events in the book or in the movie. However, in the book no accordian washes ashore while there is mention of a speculative scenerio in which "Reds" were to rescue them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.102.211.73 (talk) 01:54, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

If it's inaccurate, why leave it there? CatMan (talk) 00:30, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Movie Differences

"There was never an accordian washing up on the shore or any mention of the Russians or the Olympics." In the book or in the movie? Removing it until someone can say. I know it is not in the book, did a search on Russia, Olympic, Accordion and no results,

so I suspect it refers the movie. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cwg999 (talkcontribs) 23:08, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
