The article for Loras was pretty weak so I decided to expand on it. The page still looks a little sloppy so I'm open for suggestions.

I really don't think that the final sections regarding the mumps outbreak at Loras is really necessary. Granted there was a large outbreak, but that seems to be more of a current event and will not be very relevant in the future.

And I think that we can all agree that the last final paragraph which states: "Loras college was attacked by a deadly plague known as the mumps. Loras college put a statement in an email to make sure that people were aware of the plague. Loras college has a problem with Bong sharing and this was stressed in the the email to NOT "share bongs" many people listened to the call. Many did not and were ravaged by the plague. The plague swept the small town of dubuque not many people had a chance to escape the deadly epidemic. You could see bodies strewn in the streets and people with inflamed glands and foam coming out of the mouth. NY Times had an article that did not tell the full and whole truth. People were advised to hide under their beds and cover their mouths. Some did not listen and were swept away by the MUMPS. Return next week for more the scary hairy MUMPS stories."

Is completely ubsurd and pointless. If you are going to edit on Wikipedia than be serious about it. If you are just going to be asinine than I would suggest you take a class in short fiction.--Sg350371 05:04, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Other clubs and organizations

I am a loras graduate class of 2003, and I would like to see a section added dealing with other clubs, and national organizations that the college has to offer. I would be willing to write the section my self, but I am not very good at it, and would definatly like the imput of others involved in this page to help with the topic, and what the clubs and organizations that they think should be included. There are many local clubs at Loras, but there are also many national societies that are available for dirrerent majors, and different types of people. I would apreciate any imput that any of you might have on what should and should not be in the article, and anything else related to the section.
