Lorven

Lorven is an educational center that was established in a Rural area of Bangalore about 20 miles from downtown Bangalore. It was founded by Prof.C.Kanthamma and a group of educationists who wanted to deliver affordable quality education in Rural Bangalore. Kanthamma who has a double Masters (Master's degree in Science and Master of Philosophy) taught at Bangalore University for over 30 years before embarking on a mission to have a larger impact on India's future generations.
In 2001, Lorven was started with just over 100 students and a few thousand square feet of classroom space. By 2007, Lorven has approximately 100,000 square feet (10,000 m²) of class room space with over 1400 students.
