Lorne Henning

Lorne Henning, born February 2, 1952 in Melfort, Saskatchewan, is a Canadian hockey executive. He currently serves as Director of Player Personnel for the NHL's Vancouver Canucks.[1] He spent nine years as a forward with the New York Islanders. He has also served as head coach of the Islanders and Minnesota North Stars and as an assistant coach with the Islanders, Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Mighty Ducks.
Henning earned an assist on the May 24, 1980 goal by Bobby Nystrom that earned the Islanders their first of four consecutive Stanley Cups.
