Lorne Frohman is a writer/producer for variety shows, and sitcoms. He created the eight time Emmy Award nominated Pryor's Place starring Richard Pryor. Additional credits include D. C. Follies, Dame Edna's Hollywood, Fernwood 2Nite, Jay Leno specials, Dolly Parton Series for ABC, "Toast of Manhattan," with Barry Levinson and many more.

Frohman also was nominated for a Gemini Award for his work on "The Rimshots" starring Catherine O'Hara and Dave Thomas Andrea Martin and Saul Rubinek.

He is currently the Coordinator of the Post-Graduate Television Writing and Producing program at Humber College, Lakeshore Campus, in Toronto, Canada.[1]

Last year he wrote "Canada's Walk of Fame," starring Eugene Levy with Levy, Briane Nasimok and has directed the charity benefit show "It's Always Something" for "Gilda's Club" for the past 6 years in honor of Gilda Radner raising well over five million dollars for cancer.

Frohman is the host of the Humber College student production of Distinguished Artists, an in-depth one hour interview show on Book TV and on the CLT network. Show's guests have included Russell Peters, Sara Polley, David Cronenberg, Eugene Levy, Vivica A. Fox, Ivan Reitman, Sandra Shamas, Smothers Brothers, Joan Rivers, Mort Sahl and many more. The show is now in it's sixth season closing in on it's 100th show. He also hosts "The Boomer file" found at www boomerfile.tv
