Lormont

Lormont is a commune in the département of Gironde and the Aquitaine region of France. It is a suburb of the city of Bordeaux, and is adjacent to it on the northeast. Thus, it is a member of the metropolitan Urban Community of Bordeaux. In the 1999 census, Lormont had a population of 21,343. The commune has a land area of 7.36 km² (2.842 sq mi).
