Loretto College School is a high school administered by the Toronto Catholic District School Board in Toronto, Ontario for young Catholic women. It is located near the intersection of St. Clair Avenue and Dufferin Street. It was founded by the Loretto Sisters in 1915. Mary Ward, a founder of the Loretto Sisters, advocated excellent education for young women so that they might “do great things”. The name “college” refers to the school's association with the University of St. Michael's College, part of the University of Toronto.
