Loreto Schools, Kolkata

The Loreto Schools are a group of all-girl Catholic schools worldwide.

In Kolkata Loreto schools are located at Middleton Row (Loreto House - the largest and most prestigious of the group), Sealdah, Entally, Bowbazar and Dharmatala. There are Loreto schools in other cities across India such as: Darjeeling, Delhi, Lucknow (which has two) and Asansol. The schools engage in a number of charitable activities and focus on academic and all-round development as well[1]. Students include girls from all economic and cultural backgrounds. Discipline and self-sufficiency are given utmost importance as are morals and ethics.
