Lord of Laghlin or Lord of Leighlin are often referred to as Lord Brereton and may refer to any of these men:
- Sir William Brereton of Brereton, 1st Lord of Laghlin (6 February 1550 – 1 October 1631)[1][2]
- William Brereton, 2nd Lord of Laghlin (28 February 1611 – bur 21 April 1664) married to Elizabeth (Lord Goring's Daughter), captured by Parliamentary forces with his wife and son at Biddulph Hall in Staffordshire. Not to be confused with his cousin the Parliamentary General Sir William Brereton, 1st Baronet [1][2][3]
- William Brereton, 3rd Lord of Laghlin (4 May 1631 – 17 March 1679)[1][3]
- John Brereton, 4th Lord of Laghlin ( 2 December 1662 – dsp 1718)[1]
- Francis Brereton, 5th Lord of Laghlin (b 1 May 1662 – 24 May 1722) died sans progeny.[1][2]
