Lord Ivar Mountbatten

The Lord Ivar Alexander Michael Mountbatten (born 9 March 1963) is the younger son of the 3rd Marquess of Milford Haven and Janet Mountbatten, Marchioness of Milford Haven (formerly Janet Bryce). He is a younger brother of the 4th Marquess of Milford Haven.
He is one of the godfathers of Lady Louise Windsor, the daughter of Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and his wife, the former Sophie Rhys-Jones. He is also a direct descendant of the Russian writer Aleksandr Pushkin, as well as a direct descendant of Peter the Great's African protégé, the former slave Abram Petrovich Gannibal.
He married Penelope Anne Vere Thompson (born 17 March 1966), on 23 April 1994 in Clare in Suffolk. They have three daughters:
- Ella Louise Georgina Mountbatten (born 20 March 1996)
- Alexandra Nada Victoria Mountbatten (born 8 May 1998)
- Louise Xenia Rose Mountbatten (born 30 July 2002)
They live at Bridwell Park, in the village of Uffculme, Devon.
