The Lord Howe Monster was a creature fought by Godzilla in issue fifteen Dark Horse Comic's Godzilla King of the Monsters series.

The Lord Howe Monster was created by an insane scientist named Dr. Yamazaki who planned on releasing the crab-like being out into the world. Released from containment the Lord Howe Monster decimated a nearby Japanese fishing vessel and, for unknown reasons began to swim its way to Sydney, Australia.

Eventually the Lord Howe Monster came upon Sydney, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake. Attacking Godzilla, who happened to be in Sydney at the time, the two Kaiju battled. At first it seemed the two monsters were even in strength until Godzilla managed to knock the Lord Howe Monster off balance and smash its face into a train. Unfortunately for Godzilla the Lord Howe Monster was not defeated, it leaped toward the reptilian Kaiju and grabbed his neck in its claw.

Simultaneously strangling Godzilla and blasting him with its eye beams, the Lord Howe Monster's victory seemed assured. Fortunately Godzilla managed to tear off the Lord Howe Monster's claw, this apparently killed the lobster-like monster Ebirah.

Godzilla is last seen lumbering away from the corpse of its now dead foe.
