Lord Harris (disambiguation)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Lord Harris correctly refers to holders of the hereditary title Baron Harris, the most famous being George Harris, 4th Baron Harris, the cricketer known as Lord Harris.
Lord Harris might also be used to refer to one of four life peers:
- John Harris, Baron Harris of Greenwich, Labour, later Liberal Democrat, politician
- Jonathan Toby Harris, Baron Harris of Haringey, Labour party politician
- Ralph Harris, Baron Harris of High Cross, economist and smoker
- Philip Charles Harris, Baron Harris of Peckham, Conservative politician and businessman
- Terence A J Harris, TRH Lord of Lochaber , Labour supporter and businessman
The territorial part of the title should always be included when referring to one of these life peers, for example Lord Harris of Haringey.
