Lord George Russell

Major-General Lord George William Russell (8 May 1790 – 16 July 1846) was an English soldier, politician and diplomat; brother of Prime Minister Lord John Russell, 1st Earl Russell.
The second son of John Russell, 6th Duke of Bedford, he married Elizabeth Anne Rawdon and the couple parented:
- Francis Russell, 9th Duke of Bedford;
- Lord Arthur John Edward Russell;
- Odo Russell, 1st Baron Ampthill.
