Verdict is a professional wrestling fan who targets wrestling articles at first sight. His first edit was on the Suplex article, in which he added a new addition which was reverted. Interestingly, he states the move was innovated by Brock Lesnar. Immediately after that edit, he went on to make edits to the article, inserting non-existant images. His first block came on December 16, 2006 for this edit. The block was for 31 hours. He was blocked just five days later because of more vandalism on Lesnar's article. On December 26, 2006, he was blocked indefinitely due to his persistent vandalism and failure to communicate with other editors. Since then, he has 164 confirmed sockpuppets and 40 suspected sockpuppets. In many cases, his socks uploaded copyrighted and fair-use images that were deceptively labeled as free--thus placing Wikipedia in grave legal danger. After he emailed a death threat to an administrator who called him on this activity, he was banned by the community on March 18, 2007.
Verdict constantly uses sock-puppet accounts or IP addresses to regularly petition Wikipedia:Requests for page protection to unprotect Brock Lesnar and similar targets. This article is one of a few which remain constantly under protection due to this editor's activities. Unprotection was attempted recently which failed miserably.
