Ericsaindon2 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log) was a stubborn and persistently uncooperative editor who has spent most of the last two years promoting the view that Anaheim Hills, a wealthy residential area in Anaheim, California; is either a city separate from Anaheim or a city-like community.
He repeatedly tried to move the article to Anaheim Hills, California and repeatedly inserted statements in this and several other articles declaring Anaheim Hills was in fact a city, or at least an "incorporated community" that remained part of Anaheim. He even went as far as to create a "city seal" for Anaheim Hills, create maps of the area and derive demographic data through calculations. This was contrary to all available and verifiable evidence, as well as the consensus of all editors of Southern California-related topics.
His actions eventually led to a Arbitration case which revealed an extensive pattern of deceptive behavior--including claims that he was a administrator with over 9,000 edits. He was banned from Wikipedia for one year on September 3, 2006, but his continued edit-warring by way of sockpuppets resulted in the ban being extended across almost two calendar years due to 13 resets. Finally, his ban was extended indefinitely on January 10, 2007.
He has continued the editing patterns that led to the ArbCom case with numerous sockpuppets, though on a slightly reduced scale compared to before the ban. This has forced the Anaheim Hills article to be semi-protected several times, most recently on April 7, 2008.
He has used his socks to attempt to revert the Anaheim Hills article to his favored version. When that doesn't work, he creates content forks under variations on the name (e.g. "Anaheim Hills, CA", "Anaheim Hills (California)", etc). All known forks should be speedily deleted per CSD G5 as articles created by a currently banned user, and where possible, the titles of these forks should be turned into protected redirects to the Anaheim Hills article. He also promotes the concept of The Elite Hills (currently salted), a string of communities similar to and near Anaheim Hills.
