[edit] About the Tibet article.

Why don't we revert the Tibet article to what it was last on March 13th, 2008? Before the protests and riots? I'm seeing some posts that claim the Dalai-Lama wrote a letter to Hitler in 1939, which is impossible because he recieved his education at six, and was born in 1935 (making him four at the time of a German Zoologist, a man named Schafer, visited to try and find the Yeti). It makes sense to revert the article and then simply block its editing.

At least, can we get some administrators or moderators who would mark the article as "off-limits" to non-registered users? The flame war between Pro-Tibet and Anti-Tibet doesn't need to be taken to wikipedia. Paladin Hammer (talk) 05:28, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

That's a great idea, thank you. I'm not against having the PRC input, it should be part of our effort, but yes, "flamewar" is a pretty good description of what's happening with many of the Tibet articles. It's not building constructive, informative articles. Longchenpa (talk) 15:17, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Mustering forces

Thank you so much for helping to spread the word. I am creating a subsection on the WikiProject page to address this drive. --Gimme danger (talk) 19:51, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Excellent. Longchenpa (talk) 17:32, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Hello

Sorry I didn't reply. I was taking a little breather. Yunfeng (talk) 16:06, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

When you get back, we should take a long look at Tibetan sovereignty debate. It's been overrun. Yunfeng (talk) 14:31, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] History of Tibet Page

Thank you so much for your kind and supportive comments on my Talk Page. I just wish I could be doing more - but at the moment I am travelling and it is very difficult to squeeze in any really time for work and, also, I don't have access to my books and notes. Will keep plugging away though, whenever I have the chance, to improve articles on Tibetan subjects and keep a weather eye open for vandalism of all kinds. Cheers and all best wishes, John Hill (talk) 12:40, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
