[edit] HOPE

You said: I would like to write an article on H.O.P.E Tutoring Center, an award-winning and locally notable Arlington literacy charity. However, I'm concerned that it might not qualify as notable by Wikipedia standards. What do you think?

I'd say, read the guidelines at notability and see if you can provide any evidence of notability based on what you see there. Make sure that you put the article into appropriate categories and include some kind of reliable, published sources for verifiability. Worst thing that happens is it gets deleted, but you might as well try, so long as it doesn't take you ages and ages. :) Lawikitejana 06:29, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
I've looked that the Notability requirements and it's a marginal case. That's why I asked for advice. I'm temporarily away from editing, but when I get back I'll probably focus on improving existing articles and stubs like Tom Vandergriff. I hope to be back by the end of the summer.
