[edit] Lone Sly Noise
Lone Sly Noise is the musical brain-child of Jon Jacobs, Camron Harrison and Chris Lewis of Logan, Utah. Started in early 2005, LSN was initially a recording project which would compile different recordings of the three members. All members are songwriters, and original songwriting is generally equal between the musicians on recording sessions.
The music is most accurately described as Ambient Progressive Rock for the album Warm and Fuzzy. Their latest recording sessions have produced genres ranging from Prince-like Dance music to straight Rock music, and even Industrial.
LSN's music can be heard on their myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/loneslynoise

[edit] Warm and Fuzzy era (2005 to Mid 2006)
A brief recording process started in Camron Harrison's home studio, using nothing but free Acid Pro software and direct connections from the instruments into the computer. The results were questionable, but a full CD's worth of material was created.
Following a quick prodcution, LSN showcased the new material to close friends who informed the group that the quality was poor, but the songs were great. So, in an effort to make the best CD possible, LSN raised funds to buy new equipment and new software. The group was on an unplanned recording hiatus from June until Late October of 2005. Directly following the hiatus, the breadth of what would become the final version of "Warm and Fuzzy" was recorded at Merbot Central in Logan, Utah.
During the Warm and Fuzzy sessions, 12 complete songs were recorded, all of which appear on the album. Nearly ten hours of recordings were made, though many were alternate takes to riffs, or series of ambient noises. The final recordings were finished in April of 2006 following a turn of events that would land member Chris Lewis in the US military.
Warm and Fuzzy was pre-produced and the original mixing was done entirely by the three band members. Final production and mixing was chiefly finished by Jon Jacobs and his production company; Vacant Productions in the months between April and June of 2006. Though no final release date was ever set, the album has been available since June of 2006 on Merbot Central Production Company. Copies have been chiefly distributed to close friends and family.
[edit] Satanic Music To Dance To era (August 2006 to Present)
Following the completion of Warm and Fuzzy, LSN sought to create a new album during the time group member Chris Lewis would be in Utah. An idea was created to make a new sound, encompassing the misguided ambience of Warm and Fuzzy, but being more accessible and fluid. The conceptual idea of "Satanic Music You Can Dance To" was brought up and eventually was decided upon as the title for the new matieral.
All songs were created and recorded over a three week period from Mid August until September. Though the genre of the music had changed drastically, the group maintained the idiosyncratic jubilance of their previous effort. Keeping mild-hearted humour with intricate musical ambitions.
The most noticable difference in the new material is the addition of the human voice singing, rather than talking as Warm and Fuzzy had created. Most vocal tracks were performed by Jon Jacobs, with backing and co-vocals by Nik Mikelson, and Chris Lewis. All of the lyrics were written by the group and are designed to relay the story of a Journalists adventure into an obscure town where each song represents a different person in the community.
A majority of the material is finished, but is in heavy post-production with Jon Jacobs and Vacant Productions again at the helm of Production and mixing. The album is slated to be released on November 14 on Merbot Central and Vacant Productions.
