[edit] which length range is correct?

"The longnose gar ranges in length from 60–100 cm (24–40 inches) and weighs 0.5–3.5 kg (1–7 pounds); FishBase reports a maximum size of 2 m."

Well... which one is it? Do they range from 0.6m to 1m, or 0.6m to 2m? There's no attribution to the 0.6m-1m, so how is anyone to even take a faint stab at figuring out which is the more reputable statement? Jrssystemsnet (talk) 20:47, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
