i have just watched you program on bbc and it showed the ferrets.they were having cream mixed in with there food,i would just like to point out without causing offence that cream is a no no for ferrets they are lactose intolerant and cream can cause all sorts of problems.they should be on a high protien diet such as james welbeloved ferret food or any good make of ferret food raw meat and lactose free milk for a treat.but never cream. mine get day old chicks ,raw chicken wings,and raw mince,lactose free milk warmed up when its cold weather.for sick or old ferrets i use complan [chicken flavour]till they are on the road to recovery when they then go back onto a high protien diet. and before anyone asks yes i do have ferrets 106 at the moment as i run a ferret rescue. I hope i havnt offended anyone but my first concern is about the ferrets welfare.
