The article mentions that at some time, probably in the 60's the school became a high school. i lived on Hailsham Avenue for most of the 50's and 60's and although I went to the Grammar school, I just remember the school being the Longbenton Secondary Modern School. I don't even recall any reference to Thomas Addison on the signage at the school. Ginsbergg (talk) 16:15, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
