[edit] Potential Copyright Violation

Hey, perhaps I'm paranoid, but it would appear that the bottom part of this page looks suspiciously like a cut-and-paste copyright violation, I cannot however find where it would be from. Even if it is not, however, it reads far too much like an essay and not an encyclopedia article. Please comment. Lordthees 15:04, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

On another note, it seems like this page is quite redundant with regards to the article for Fixed asset. If there are no objections, I will seek to complete said merge this week. Lordthees 15:06, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

I make reference to the first paragraph. I do not totally agree with you on your comment that the bottom part of the page suspiciously like a cut-and -paste copyright violation. You are paranoidic indeed. I wonder why you choose to criticise someoneelse's work before you do your research. SAS for information is statement of Accounting Standard. It is relevant to accounting practises in Nigeria.

- My suggestion is NOT to merge this with Fixed Assets, because these are two different categories of balance sheet assets. Fixed assets include _only_ tangible, material items, while long-term assets is a much broader category, including, among others, long-term receivables, accruals, intangibles in addition to fixed assets.
