[edit] Link spam
I added a link to the lyrics for this song, which appears to be a very common external link in most other song pages. Why was this reverted? I wouldn't consider it spam at all, for the reason above. Furthermore there are other articles with links I would consider more worthy of this tag. I also cleaned up the other links that were also present, the YouTube link is redundant since the music video is on the official website. Scott 01:20, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
- The external links policy says "...editors are restricted from linking to the following, without exception...Sites that violate the copyrights of others". Lyric sites never have the permission of the copyright owners, and so fall squarely within this restriction. If you find other links to lyric cites (for copyrighted songs) in wikipedia, remove them in accordance with this policy. -- Finlay McWalter | Talk 13:43, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

- OK thanks for clearing that up. There are many, many pages with links to lyrics sites on Wikipedia. Specifically, the following searches of a few of the popular lyrics sites bring up many examples that can be deleted by someone with a bit mroe time on their hands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. BTW is there a better place to conduct this discussion?

[edit] Chart Run and Positions
I was wondering, that it was released on the 4th December 2006, where is the chart run or the peak positions of this song. Or, has it not peaked in a position yet? I would find out but I have no idea where the UK Singles Chart is on the internet. I think Yahoo has one and the BBC. --Oriana is cool 01:48, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think the song charted at all. — AnemoneProjectors (talk) 16:52, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Lonelygirl.jpg
Image:Lonelygirl.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:01, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
