Bosworth? You mean Boswell, don't you? P Ingerson 14:19, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] "Its popularity stems more from its sexual candor..."

  • I understand that the nature of something's popularity is not something easily empirically proven, but I would wonder what truth is in this? The work is an actual journal, and a snapshot of the literary world of London during the height of the 18th Century, as well as a compelling coming of age story. Labelling it as an exciting sex romp seems to do it a grave disservice in my opinion. Any thoughts? --Ryan Heuser 23:55, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
    • I have gone ahead and changed the article, removing the above segment and the literature stub. If anyone feels differently, please feel free to discuss it here and/or edit what I have written. --Ryan Heuser 00:36, 10 September 2005 (UTC)
