[edit] Friendly?

The article states "Sutton is a friendly community". How is this quantified? Deckchair 13:57, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

It can't be. I took the liberty of removing that paragraph. Hammer Raccoon 22:22, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cultural Attractions etc

At present, there are only three of these included. Do historical sites (like Carew Manor, or the parks at the sites of Oaks House and Nonsuch Palace; not to mention Whitehall house, which is fairly well known, Carshalton Ponds, etc, quite besides minor historical/artistic sites, and the libraries (eg Cheam, Wallington) not count? (If they count I will add them). (RJ Gordon (talk) 17:25, 3 January 2008 (UTC))

The parks and open spaces are listed under Sutton parks and open spaces, I'd probably add minor historical and artistic sites if they have any notability. I'd probably list libraries separately as local authority amenities. Generally, it's better to introduce these things as a couple of paragraphs of prose, rather than lists. At an early stage in an article's development, that can be difficult. HTH Kbthompson (talk) 18:40, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
