- It depends on which physical layer we're discussing. "Free topology" runs slower than, say 1.25 Mb/s RS-485.

- Standard LON network is 78kbps. Slow by today's standards, but quite robust. This seems like a useful addition to the article. Aaron Lawrence 01:49, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
