Long Island is an island in southeastern New York, USA, jutting out into the Atlantic Ocean. It comprises four counties, two of which (Queens and Brooklyn) are boroughs of New York City, and two of which (Nassau and Suffolk) are suburbs of that city. More....
Montauk is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Suffolk County, New York on the South Shore of Long Island. As of the United States 2000 Census, the hamlet population was 3,851. It is the easternmost area in Long Island, and thus the easternmost area in New York State. read more...
