Longgang (Traditional: 龍崗; Simplified: 龙岗区) District is one of the six districts of the Shenzhen sub-provincial city, in Guangdong Province, southern China. It is located outside of the Special Economic Zone, north-east of Shenzhen. With an area of 844.07 km², Shenzhen Municipality is the largest administrative zone in Guangdong Province. Population: 961,800, of which 191,100 are registered residents.
