Longchengpterus was a genus of istiodactylid pterodactyloid pterosaur from the Barremian-Aptian-age Lower Cretaceous Jiufotang Formation of Chaoyang, Liaoning, China. It is based on an incomplete skeleton and partial skull, which indicate it is more closely related to Istiodactylus than to other pterosaurs.[1]
