Long Valley is an unincorporated community in Jackson County, South Dakota, United States. Although not tracked by the Census Bureau, Long Valley has been assigned the ZIP code of 57547. Long Valley is located 29 miles south of the county seat of Kadoka, South Dakota along Highway 73.

The Longvalley community consists of Longvalley Elementary School, Longvalley Luthern Church, a community center (a.k.a. the Fire Hall), Longvalley Post Office/General Store, a small scrapyard, and a volunteer fire department.
