Long Island School For The Gifted
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Long Island School For The Gifted (LISG) is an elementary and middle school for gifted students located in Huntington Station, New York. It was founded in 1980 by a group of parents who were dissatisfied with the quality of the education provided for their gifted children. One of those founders, Carol Yilmaz, became the school's director (and maintains that position to this day). The current principle is Roberta Tropper.
