Long Distance Hurdle

The Long Distance Hurdle is a Grade 2 National Hunt hurdle race for four-year-old and above horses. It is run over a distance of 3 miles 110 yards (4,929 m) at Newbury Racecourse in late November or early December. There are twelve hurdles to be jumped in the race.

It was first run in 1990. Prior to 1992 it was run over the slightly longer distance of 3 miles 120 yards.
