Lonere is a small town located in the middle of no where....Raigad district of Maharashtra state in India. It is situated on NH-17 (Mumbai-Goa national highway) approximately 10 km from Mangaon (towards south) and 25 km from Mahad (towards north).

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University is at Lonere, This university is established by a Govt. of Maharashtra Act 1983, in 1989 and it's Autonomous. The University having following Departments :
