Lone Scherfig (born 2 May 1959 in Copenhagen) is a Danish film director who made her mark with the Dogme95-film, Italiensk for begyndere (2000), a romantic comedy which among its many international awards won the Silver Berlin Bear (Jury Prize) at the 2001 Berlin International Film Festival.
Her great uncle is the Danish writer Hans Scherfig.
