[edit] History

The 432 began on 15 February 2003 and was brought into force as the bus route 2 was withdrawn between Norwood Garage and Crystal Palace. The 432 initially ran from Brixton to Crystal Palace, but was extended to Anerley on 26 July 2003 . The route was operated by Leyland Olympians. Route 432 along with Route 249 were the last London bus routes to use Leyland Olympians. In 2005, existing DLAs (from Routes 176 and 417) and newly ordered VLAs became operational and are still running on the route. The 432 has always been operated by Arriva London at Norwood Garage (N).
