[edit] History
Route 337 was formed from the withdrawn section of route 37 on 25 May 1991, running between Richmond and Clapham Junction, using Metrobuses from Stockwell Garage.
Upon tendering in 1999, the route passed from London General to London United on 10 May. Initially run from Fulwell Garage using Metrobuses, the route was soon transferred to Hounslow Garage in November. The route was converted to low floor in August 2000 using Volvo B7TL / Alexander ALX400s.
Tendering again 5 years later saw the route passing to Arriva on 29 May 2004. DW class DAF DB250LF/Wright Pulsar Geminis were used temporarily at first operating from Wandsworth Garage, and during August the DWs were transferred to Brixton Garage for the conversion of route 137 from Routemaster - when route 337 gained its intended Volvo B7TL/Alexander ALX400s (VLAs).
Route 337 is the only London Buses service that Wandsworth garages operates, it mainly runs the non-TfL Original Tour open-top sightseeing services.
