Route 303 began on 1 February 1992, running the same route Monday to Saturday from Colindale Asda to Edgware Station, via Grahame Park, Mill Hill and Deansbrook Avenue. Operating from Metroline's Edgware and North Wembley Garages, using midibuses and low-floor Dennis Dart SLF 10.2m / Plaxton Pointer 2's in 2002.
Route 303 gained Sunday service in 1993.
On 2 September 2006, operation was transferred from Metroline to Arriva Shires & Essex (also known as Arriva The Shires), at their Garston garage in Watford, using brand new low-floor DAF SB120 / Wright Cadet's.
