This route began in 1949, running from Chingford Royal Forest Hoel to Golders Green Station, via existing route, Lea Valley Viaduct, Hall Lane, Chingford Mount, Old Church Road, New Road and Larkshall Road. Running from Enfield (E), Tottenham (AR) and Palmers Green (AD) garages.
Brand new Trident/Enviro 400 double deckers entered service in March 2008. The Night service will be extended to Brent Cross
On 1 September 2007, Route 102 was converted to 24-hour service but only running from Edmonton Green to Golders Green Station. It is unknown when it will be extended to Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
