The Commune of Londa (It: Comune di Londa) is a municipality in the Province of Florence in the central Italian region Tuscany. It is centred on the small town of Londa and extends over an area of 59 km². Its population of 1,670 is divided between Londa itself (the capoluogo of the commune) and the local centres (frazioni) of Caiano, Fornace, Rincine, Rata, Vierle, Petroio, Bucigna, Sambucheta and San Leolino.
The neighbouring communes are Dicomano, Pratovecchio (AR), Rufina, San Godenzo and Stia (AR).
The toponym is first recorded in a document of 1028 as “Unda”, meaning a wave and alluding to the torrent on which it is situated. The wave appears in the communal coat of arms.
