I joined Wikipedia to add a bit of information to the Tom Thayer page, regarding his jersey number when he played for the 1985 Champion Chicago Bears. I was having a conversation with my wife regarding this Joliet native and his schooling and the question about what number he wore, came up. I found what I feel was a reasonable reference showing him in his jersey so I added the Number to his wiki page. Simple enough, and fun.
I am a new user to wiki stuff and have begun using it to build an extensive reference library at work. I am also a new supporter of openoffice.org and what they stand for and provide. I hope this new discovery of mine pans out and is a benefit to society. I am leery about supporting the big web organizations like 'G' and 'Y' but they seem to be doing the right things (esp. 'G').
