Loksa Parish

Loksa Parish (Estonian: Loksa vald) is a rural municipality in northern Estonia. It is a part of Harju County. The municipality has a population of 1,765 (as of 1 January 2004) and covers an area of 222.34 km². The population density is 7.9 inhabitants per km².

Local administration of the municipality is located in the town of Loksa, although the town itself constitutes separate urban municipality and is not part of Loksa Parish. There are 28 villages in Loksa Parish.

According to latest local government reform, Loksa Parish will cease to exist after municipal elections, which will be held on 16 October 2005. The territory of the municipality will become part of Kuusalu Parish.
