Talk:Lois Bourne

[edit] Today's edit
I noticed that the entry for Lois has for some time been little more than a stub. For a short while I was a neighbour of Lois and so it occurred to me that I might telephone her and offer to broaden out this entry.
The resulting changes I have made have been as a result of my discussions with Lois.

[edit] My last amendment
During my last amendment, made on Wednesday 2 January 2008, I removed the previous amendment, which had been to delete the biographical information I had inserted about Lois Bourne.
The person who removed the biographical information had given, as their reason, that it was "probably notable, but written like a blog entry by a friend". I could not help but feel that, if anyone wishes to adopt such a high handed attitude, they should at least have the courtesy to log in to Wikipedia, and do so under their own name. The person who deleted what I had written did not do this. They made their amendments, via an IP Addess login (66.82.9.110). When I clicked on this IP Address, on Wikipedia's history for this article, I saw a message, which informed me that the host (i.e. IP Address: 66.82.9.110) "is registered to Hughes Network Systems, an Internet service provider, via which numerous individual users may connect to the Internet via proxy."
I did not feel that this was a very professional way to go about deleting someone else's work. Consequently, I felt it was right and proper to remove the deletion.

[edit] Bias
It seems that the wording of some of the paragraphs are written in the first person and includes many subjective comments. It would be good if the authors were able to give references and write it from an objective third person view point. I will reword some sentences and delete some but please feel free to debate. ~Alosel~ | (Talk) 17:37, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
