[edit] List cruft?

IMHO, the topic of the "châteaux of the loire valley" could handle a lot more discussion than a couple of paragraphs of generality then a navigation box with links to the individual articles for the châteaux themselves. The ideal would probably involve links to all the châteaux, embeddded in some explanatory text that links the articles together, groups them in some meaningful way (possible chronological) and generally makes them more approachable. I tried adding a straight list (but it got reverted), but maybe that's not the way to go. How best to expand this article, and start discussing the individual châteaux, given that there are apparently 300+ of them? Stevage 11:20, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
