Lois Herr

Lois Herr (born December 23, 1941 in Hershey, Pennsylvania)[1] is an aspiring American politician and a Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Democrat from Pennsylvania's 16th congressional district. In the 2006 election she ran her second campaign for the seat held by Republican Joseph R. Pitts after losing to the incumbent Pitts in 2004. She received approximately 39% of the 198,338 votes cast and was routed by Pitts. Herr is a native of Hershey, Pennsylvania and currently resides in Elizabethtown. She graduated from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania, received a masters from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Fordham University. She is still affiliated with Elizabethtown College as a Scholar in Residence.
