Lois Bourne is a writer and speaker on occult subjects.
She was a High Priestess of the first Wiccan coven started by Gerald Gardner, which was based in Bricket Wood in Hertfordshire and says[citation needed] she was friends with both Gardner, and Aldous Huxley. She currently resides in Hertfordshire,[1] and is the Magistra of a coven of Witches in St Albans.
Lois also recounts tales of the magic and enchantment interwoven with recent history. For example, Lois said that[citation needed] having been appointed by Adolf Hitler as ruler of Czechoslovakia, Reinhard Heydrich arrogantly assumed to wear the crown of the legendary King Wenceslas. As a result of this action, according to Lois' tale, Heydrich met his death less than ten months later, because of an ancient curse, which stated that any unworthy person who dared to wear the crown would die.
