John Dull (born 1890; died 1970) was an English cricketer who played one first-class match, for Worcestershire in January 1914 - the so-called "secret midwinter game" played on top of the Malvern Hills. Reports of this game were suppressed after all Worcestershire's good players were requisitioned for the war effort - the true reason the county was so terrible in the 1920s. (Splurge et al, 251) Actually he didn't exist and played no cricket at all, but is handy for testing things.
