The Logitech mm50 Speakers for Apple Computer iPod is a very highly reviewed speaker system for use with the Apple Computer iPod nano and other MP3 players.
[edit] Design Changes
Sometime in 2006 the company produced a new version of the mm50 without changing the model number . The earlier version of the mm50 had a pass-through connection for synching an iPod with a computer. The newer version does not.
In a review of August 4, 2006 at Gadgeteer.com [1] The Gadgeteer - Logitech mm50 Portable iPod Speakers], the pass-through connector is shown in pictures of the unit. In late January 2007, the Logitech mm50 sold in stores no longer had the pass-through connector. In addition, the connector was no longer listed as a feature on the Logitech website or on the mm50 box.
The latest version of mm50 is replaced by Logitech Pure Fi Anywhere.
