Logan Martinez is an American politician and activist who ran for the 2006 Ohio House of Representatives as a Green Party candidate. Logan Martinez is also an anchor for the Green Party News Program. He also writes articles as a columnist for the Green Pages[1] (the newspaper for the Green Party of the United States) and is a columnist member for the Free Press.[2].
Martinez owns his own house painting business Logan Martinez Painting, which he founded in 1985, and is a National Steering Committee Member of the Independent Progressive Politics Network.

[edit] Early life and career
Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio in 1948, Martinez became politically active during the late 1960s. Logan Martinez started taking action against the Vietnam War, and the military draft, and many issues facing Dayton and the Miami Valley. Logan graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1968. During college he attended Sinclair Community College and Wright State University. Throughout the 2000s Logan Martinez has ran for many positions but was not elected many debating because of his third party status.

In 2006 the Green Party of Ohio choose him to become their candidate for the Ohio House of Representatives representing the 39th District of Ohio.
Martinez received 1995 votes from the public, making up about 8.8% of the vote.
