The comments that Lodi raised Corporate taxes and drove businesses out of town is incorrect. The Village of Lodi does not control corporate taxes the state does. Most businesses left through consolidation such as Gourmet Salads who built new facilities in Medina and moved its Lodi, and old Medina as well as other locations to the new Medina complex. Invacare also consolidated operations at its Elyria Headquarters and most of its operations (and jobs) are located in China now.
